About this event

To celebrate the launch of the India User Group, for its first virtual event, the Dayananda Sagar University’s (DSU) faculty will share their take on the Inclusive Artificial Intelligence and in-industry applications with Dataiku. Digital transformation and connection are reaching critical mass, spreading across even the most traditional industrial segments and creating a staggering array of business opportunities and threats. The influx of AI and Data Analytics has created the possibility of solving complex problems and making decisions that are accurate in quick time. This discussion will provide an overview of the field of Business Intelligence, which uses historical data to better understand and thereby improve business performance, as well as create new strategic opportunities for growth. Importantly the democratization of Business Analytics is about educating people about anticipated future trends.

Capt. Nagaraj Rao, Dean, Strategy & Development at DSU, will present the partnership between Dataiku and DSU. Prof HN Shankar, Adjunct Professor at DSU, will be further moderating a panel discussion around how Data Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning are revolutionizing business. The panel will be led by expert DSU professors in the data science field: Prof. Alok Chakravarty, Prof. Hari Ambadapudi, Prof. KN Amarnath, and Prof. Tamal Das.

DSU, based in Bangalore, is a distinctive learning community focused on building the student's and executive’s repertoire of skills and competencies. The university received the Best Private University – South award instituted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). It transforms today’s students into professional leaders of tomorrow, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, executive and doctoral programmes in multiple streams such as Engineering, Basic & Applied Sciences, Commerce & Management, etc.

The presentation will be followed by a live exchange and Q&A session for participants to share best practices on the topic. To continue the discussion, join the India User Group on the Dataiku Community now - a place to connect with fellow data practitioners from India, participate in the future events, and share knowledge on Dataiku and data science with peers.
