Join us to explore a Dataiku DSS project developed by Ben Powis (Data Science Manager, MandM Direct) to predict the likelihood that a customer will return to a website.
Ben will present how his team joined data together from various sources into BigQuery, then used DSS to perform data preparation. This resulted in a machine learning algorithm to assess the probability of a customer returning to the website days after their visit. Ben will also discuss similar work developed at the order level to predict next orders based on previous purchases.
The presentation will be followed by an open discussion on best practices & pitfalls of customer predictive analytics, during which Leo Treguer (Data Scientist, Dataiku) will share advice from his experience on the topic.
